Prolouge: So It Begins...

Xanta Nar wasn't really sleeping, she only had to sleep for three days each year. What she was doing in her temporary quarters was resting. It was needed since she had to sit between two old men bickering across her, a baby wailing, and three small children screaming the entire trip to the station, which lasted three hours. After a while, she felt that she couldn't stay still for much longer, so she told the computer to belay her last request.

"Computer, where is Captain Owen Star?" Xanta asked. "Captain Owen Star is in *name of bar that he is in*," the computer responded. Xanta wanted to meet the captain, so she headed out. She had seen an image of him when she was going over the senior staff profiles, so she figured she'd be able to spot him.

Owen wondered if Lillian was going to say anything else as he stood in the security guard office.

Lilly felt a little awkward now. She wasn't sure if she was aloud to leave the office,and if she was where was she supposed to stay?

"You are dismissed" Owen told her softly with a smile. "If you're unsure where to go then one of the security officers can show you your tempoar-" Owen began but he was interupted.

"Sir...there's a message for you, from Starfleet." A security officer said coming in with a rushed tone.

"Alright, patch it through here..." Owen said but then paused looking at Lillian. "Would you like someone to show you to your tempoary quarters?" he asked rather fastly.

(OCC: Ooops. Well, that was the only bar that I knew the name of. I'll change my post to reflect the fact that he isn't in that bar. That okay?)

Xanta arrived in the bar that Captain Star was in, and slowly looked around, trying to find him. But, from where she was standing, he was blocked by a group sitting at one of the tables.

Owen waited for a response from Lillian.

Xanta continued looking, but couldn't find him. Oh, well. Looks like the computer made a mistake, she thought. She then decided to see if there was anyone else from the Athena she could find, seeing as she was rather bored.

Morgan dropped of his things at his quarters and decided to check out the infamous bar, making his way to one of the bars and upon entering saw a young denobulan woman. He smiled at the woman, she seemed familar "Hi there" he greeted cheerfully as he walked up to her.

(OOC: Sorry yall. I was ill and was unable to be on the computer. It is harder still to be on the computer when vomiting. I am still recovering,but thank God the vomiting has stopped. )

"I'm stationed on the Athena myself. Chief Engineer; Lieutenant Harper." Eliza smiled as she held out her hand for a handshake. "So what exactly do you plan to 'observe?' " Eliza Jane asked the ex drone.

"To be honest sir, I wasn't aware I had any temporary quarters." Lilly told Captain Star with a faint smile.

"Most of the crew does until our ship arrives" Owen told as he took the security desk chair and pulled the moniter towards him.

Kathleen managed to recall the correct courtesy at the right time this time, and shook the woman's hand- a bit less violently this time, but Eliza's hand still was red and white. "I am nt sure. Dr. Forth informed me it would be something along thel ines of human relations."

"Human relations huh?" Eliza Jane said as she opened and closed her right hand to get the blood flow normally again. "Let's hope you're not given a Dear Abby collum...though it would be rather interesting to see what you would tell people. Especially in romance situations. Oh let's not forget the lost and found."

"No disrespect captain,but I'm not on the roster so I'm not considered part of the crew...just a passenger." Lilly said politely as possible.

Owen looked up from the moniter and smiled "passenger or no...i consider everyone on my ship a member of the crew".

Kathleen appeared to have completely missed the point of the joke. "I would not accept such an assignment." she said simply.
