Neveah carefully climbed up onto the nearest biobed, folded her hands in her lap, and looked around sickbay. Neat and clean. She liked it.

Xanta walked over to Neveah, tricorder in hand, and began scanning. "How's your day been?" she asked, being friendly.

"Good." Neveah answered cheerily.

"That's good," Xanta said, smiling. She closed her tricorder. "You're completely healthy. You're free to go."

"Thanks." Nev answered, and jumped down from the biobed. She returned to the bridge and relieved her assistant.

They say time flew by when you're having fun but honestly, despite the good mood Owen really wasn't having fun. Oh well, that was the joy of being a starfleet captain, sitting in the chair, reading reports every so often, at least it was quiet he thought absently. After the long hours of simply sitting there and doing his Captain duties the ship finally neared there destination.

Jonathon flopped down on his bed when he returned to his quarters at the end of his shift. He hadn't gone down to sickbay for his physical like he had planned, because he ended up in an engaging conversation with one of his crewmates. In fact, he completely forgot about it.
In sickbay, Xanta finished entering a young ensign's physical results. "Computer, how long until my shift ends?" she asked. "Your shift ended 10 minutes ago," the computer replied. "How long until my next shift?" Xanta asked. "Ten hours, fifty minutes," came the reply. I'll call it a day, she thought, and nodded to the officer in command of sickbay when she was off duty, signaling that she was passing command over. Xanta left sickbay, and returned to her quarters, tired.

Sam glanced out the viewport at the looming planet before them. It spun slowly on it's axis, blue-green-yellow in the light of it's flaming sun. He glanced at the Captain, waiting for orders.
