Prolouge: So It Begins...

"Thank You Lieutenant" Owen replied to his chief engineer as he glanced at his helm. "Mr Falx...take her out"

"Me? well uh i'm not a teacher" Morgan said rather nervously with the hint of embarrasment shown only on his face.

[Jonus]

"Aye Aye Sir" Jonus said, with more enthusiasm then he usually did. Finally, a start to this mission, whatever it was. His hands flew over the console

*viewed from outside*
The clamps holding the Athena to the dock detached as the Athena's nacells glowed bright blue showing they were powered up.
In short order, the Athena was floating in space on its own next to the docking platform. It moved slowly away from the station

*back on the bridge*

"Course and Heading sir?" Jonus asked as the Athena pulled from DS9

"You have the ability to be more than you are." Lilly told Morgan sweetly sounding sure of herself. "You could teach. I'm sure you'd be good at it."

Sam sat back in his chair. Neveah, at her console, spoke up. "We're free sir, with no mishaps."

Captain Owen Star leaned forward in his chair gazing at the viewscreen with a smile. "Course and Heading sir?". Star's smile only got bigger as he leaned back in his chair once more "Heaing 106 mark 7...course the leviathan system"

"Thank you for the vote of confidence. If you want you could take up the suggestion to the chief medical officer. She might be able to teach you" Morgan suggested.

[Jonus]

"Leviathan Systen, 106...mark 7. Course laid in sir" Jonus reported

"Warp 4...Engage" Owen said those words slowly and clearly with the air of calm authority mixed with excitment.

[Jonus]

"Warp 4" Jonus replied.

The Warp Nacells went up, glowed intensely bright, and the Athena zoomed off into Warp speed.

Down in the mess hall, when the Athena went into warp, Jonathon was looking out the window. He smiled when he saw the stars streak by.

The Leviathan system? Interesting, Baro'Garen thought. She was bored; watching a console can't keep one's interest for too long.

Lilly gently shook her head no.Her long strawberry blonde hair lightly moving back and forth with the shake of her head. "If I have a teacher it has to be you. I won't accept any other."


Back in engineering Eliza Jane walked up to a panel on the railing by the warp core and started tapping away. It felt good to finally be getting under way. "So,are either of you looking forward to the unknown?" She asked as she concentraited on her work.

"The Borg know everything about this space- so do I. It is not unknown." Kathleen informed Ekliza.

"Me?" Morgan asked suprised that she only wanted to be taught by him.

[Jonus]

"Absolutely!" sergei replied
"A good tussel with danger now and then is just what the bod needs for healthy living"

"Yes you." Lilly responded naturally,with a soft sweetness. "For one,despite your lack of self confidence,I think you would be a good teacher,also,no offense the chief medical officer would naturally be busier than you although I know you have important things to do as well." Lilly said as she brushed a strand of hair away from her face. She then smiled. "You are also very kind,and seem an easy enough person to get along with."


Eliza Jane glanced at Kathleen for just a moment. "Oh come on.The Borg don't know everything,and no offense,neither do you.I'm sure we'll come across something very puzzling that you won't be able to figure out."
Eliza Jane grinned at what Sergi had said. "Nope,nothin' like it...and as long as we can keep the ship in one piece I say bring it on."

Morgan slowly felt himself go warm in the face. "Oh well i uh um...thank you. Well if you really want me too i guess i could teach you but not yet" Morgan said keeping his blood pressure in his face controlled or atleast tried.
