Eliza Jane was just minding her own business waiting for something to happen when someone approached her. A tall Klingon female stood near her. Eliza Jane was quite confused by her sentence when she spoke,as well as a bit surprised she didn't see her coming,but she ignored those facts and hid them well. Eliza Jane shrugged. "Unless you can see through them." She replied ever so casually. Eliza looked at the Klingon woman. "So what cha have on your feet? Sneakers?" She asked now looking down. Hmmm "I should have heard you coming." Eliza Jane said looking back up.

Sure enough, as she came up, she saw a man she identified as Captain Star. Walking over, she instantly made herself noticeable to him, regardless of any prior conversations or occupations. "Captain Star." It took her a moment to search for the correct phrase, but she finally latched onto it, and finished. "...May I have a moment?" Owen turned his head to see Kathleen, he smiled. "Of course crewman" |

"I am 3 of...Kathleen." Kathleen corrected herself just before she spouted off her borg designation. "Dr. Forth informed me I would be an observer on board your ship."

"Ah yes as i was told by Admiral Janeway" Owen said. "Well welcome Kathleen" The Cheery Captain held out his hand.

Kathleen stared down at his hand for a moment, then reached hers out and grasped his- a bit harder than necessary, then retracted it, putting it back to her side.

Owen's little finger twitched slightly but other than that, he looked perfectly normal. "Well, your Alcove is on board the ship...that is when it get's here" The Captain replied with a smile.

Kathleen nodded slightly. "Thank you Captain." she then abruptly turned around and headed off.

Morgan entered DS9's sickbay and smiled joyously as he looked around. hmm...wonder if Doctor Bashir is around... thought the Doctor as he noted that no one was in here, he shrugged as he examined a cortical stimulator.

She could order me to tell her, since she is a lieutenant... I might as well tell her. "I am Baro'Garen, the new assistent security officer of the USS Athena," she said. "Wow a Klingon with manners." Eliza Jane said with a grin. "Not every day you meet one. Maybe we I could sell tickets." Eliza thought out loud. She then paused. Opps. I can't believe I said that out loud. Eliza Jane smiled lightly. "So,you're on the Athena huh? Nice ship...heard the crew is extremely nice too,especially those Klingon assistant security officers." Eliza said a tad nervously as she smiled. "I'm Lieutanent Harper, chief engineer of the Athena."

"About the manners... sometimes, by human standards, I can be quite rude," Baro'Garen said. "It's... nice... to meet you, Lieutenant," she said gruffly, and after a few moments extended her hand for a handshake.
