Prolouge: So It Begins...

Owen's mind went back to there mission and at how simple and how non-simple it could turn out to be, the last time he heard of an escort turned out to be one great big battle...well in his dream anyway.

OOC: im just asking cuz, you know, there hasnt been a post in almost....a week? more like a few days :\

((OOC: So? the time outside the rp doesn't effect the RP itself..it's within the RP. Just need to hear from April or Alyeska and then we can move on. Hmm just thought of something, when you do post an OOC message, please post in the RP as well however if you can't think of one then i'll let it off)

Owen still had a small fear deep inside him, the little loose bolts and screws in the ship. They did leave ahead of scheldule and without complete fine tuning however the confidence and faith of his new crew put a stab in that fear.

(OOC: I'm ok with time skipping a bit)

IC: Once Xanta finished checking the medical tray, she walked over to Morgan. "I'm going to the storage room," she said.

Morgan nodded to Xanta with a smile of acknowleadgment before returning to whatever he was doing.

The time of stars passing had made it the half an hour that had passed for the senior briefing. As a little reminder Owen tapped his badge "All Senior Staff to the conference room" he reminded as the Captain made his way into his briefing room and then he took his seat where his back faced the window.

[Ensign Alyeska]

Xanta walked back out of the storage room when she heard the reminder about the meeting. She walked over to Morgan, and said, "I'm leaving you in charge until I get back from the meeting."

[Jonus]

Jonus paused what he was doing to listen then stood up and moved aside as his replacement sat down. He entered the conference room and took a seat near the other end of the table.

Neveah and Sam ended up entering the room at the same time. They took their seats.

Morgan nodded "Yes Ma'am" He acknowleadged as he wondered if he'll be treating anything during the time of the meeting.

Owen glanced at the officers that had come in and nodded to each one, now just a few more he thought.

Kathleen made her way over to Eliza. "Lieutenant. Are we going to the briefing?"

"You go on a head." Eliza Jane told Kathleen in a voice that had said she was concentrating. "I'll be there in a...minute..." Eliza Jane pushed a few more buttons, and mumbled something under her breath. "If...I'm late...take some notes."

[Ensign Alyeska]

Xanta gave Morgan a smile. "Thanks," she said, then giving him a nod and walking out of sickbay. She walked to the nearest turbolift and told it to go to the bridge. When Xanta arrived on the bridge, she walked over to and entered the briefing/conference room.

Kathleen nodded, then headed to the turbo-lift. When she reached the lift, she directed it to the bridge. She went towards the conference room.

Owen looked at Xanta as she entered and nodded to her but his eyebrow rose for a second when Kathleen entered. "Crewman, may i ask what you are doing here?" he asked in a half polite and half captain voice which he found effective over his years of being on a starship.
