Sergei had nothing to say to that, but instead just laughed. This was perhaps going to be the most fun he'd ever had.

Kathleen looked rather confused. "Moves?" "Yeah. Your dance steps..." Eliza Jane told Kathleen. "The way you boogie down." She added shortly after.

"I thought it was 'drop it like it's hot', whatever the hell that means" Sergei said thoughtfully

Kathleen's eyebrows went up. "Human vernacular is...interesting."

"In what way?" Eliza Jane asked Kathleen as she moved to a different console.

"You cannot seem to fixate upon one term, but insist upon gravitating between many. It is very inefficient." Kathleen- patiently- explained.

"All humans may come from Earth...well most anyway..." Eliza Jane said thinking about how many humans were born on different planets. "Each has their own speech pattern or accent...kind of like different species throughout the quadrants." Eliza Jane tried to explain. "It's one of the many things that makes us unique."

"How is their place of origin relevant?" Kathleen asked.

"Determines everything. Ive always found it curious that other species dont have this too, but then again Its possible Human are the only ones who decided to grow up all over their home planet at once. If someone was born in Africa, chances are they will be powerfully built and dark skinned due to the environment there. Someone born in the furthest habitable northern reaches of the planet would probably be white, tall, fair haired, etc etc so they can survive. That sort of thing" Sergei said as he continued to monitor stations by walking to each one

"They adapt to their surroundings. Much as humanoids do to spatial conditions." Kathleen said, nodding slightly in understanding.

"Okay. Question for both of you." Eliza Jane said as she walked over to the ladder. "What do you hope to gain from our first mission?" Eliza asked as she started to climb. She was aware that it had not exactly started yet,but to her it didn't matter.

"Perhaps we should wait and see what happens." Kathleen suggested.

On the bridge, Baro'Garen was getting a funny feeling. She decided to scan for other ships, and any unauthorized transmissions, even though she had done a scan not five minutes ago. Baro'Garen liked to be thorough. Her scans, once finished, showed that nothing was wrong, but she couldn't get rid of that funny feeling.
