Captains Log

(First Log) Captain's log stardate 56000.601, I am awaiting my new ship...the USS Athena a intrepid class. After serving on 4 previous ships this will be my second command and fifth ship. I hope that i will Command it's crew and it's bulkheads the same and if not better than i have always done. I am currently on Deep Space Nine where most of my crew are onboard, i have been told in advance that 10% of my crew may not arrive in time and will have to join at a later date, however i am confident that the 90% crew will suffice as a 110% crew which i always believe. Our first mission is well...unproffesionaly speaking rather boring but i guess all shakedown missions are but you never know, being a starfleet officer...weird is in the job description so anything could happen.
